In Memoriam: Mary Ronan Essig 10/9/17 to 12/3/07

My Mother-in-Law went to be with her beloved husband around 8:30 AM Monday morning. A tough time for us, but a good time for her. She will be missed.
She is survived by 8 children, 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. I’ll miss the conversations we had about politics, what a die-hard Democrat she claimed to be, but how that was trumped by her commitment to right-to-life, up to and including voting for a Republican, George W. twice. Not sure she would have confessed to that had her beloved husband been alive. He was as committed a Republican as she was a Democrat. He would have never let her live it down…

I am so sorry to read this, and after the fact as well! Its been a while since I visited your site here.. and had no idea. Please tell Mary how sorry I am to have not sent more timely condolences and give our love to her and the children.
