No…I’m NOT kidding. That’s how pathetic San Francisco has become. Reason #4,589…why I left California. Moral equivalency run amok.
An effort by San Francisco to shield eight young Honduran crack dealers from federal immigration officials backfired when the youths escaped from Southern California group homes within days of their arrival, officials said Monday.
The walkaways are the latest in a string of embarrassments for city officials who are protecting illegal-immigrant drug dealers from federal authorities and possible deportation because of San Francisco’s 1989 declaration that the city is a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants.
Yes…you read that correctly. Keeping crack dealers who are ILLEGAL aliens in the United States is more important than deporting them. How twisted is that?
When federal law enforcement authorities demanded that San Francisco halt the flights and began a criminal investigation, the city decided to house some of the dealers in long-term youth rehabilitation centers. Some of those centers are run by a nonprofitcompany called Silverlake Youth Services in mountain towns southeast of San Bernardino.
Eight Honduran juveniles who had been convicted of dealing drugs in San Francisco were sent within the past few weeks to the company’s group homes, where one month’s placement costs $7,000 per youth - an expense borne by San Francisco taxpayers.
Um….I’m speechless.

Line ‘em up!
Now that yesterday’s U.S. Supreme Court decision has lovingly pistol-whipped the city of Washington, DC….other gunowners are LINING UP to go after their respective cities. Uh…I have one word to say about that: Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Emboldened by Thursday’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling affirming the right of individuals to own handguns, advocates said they would immediately challenge a San Francisco law that prohibits guns in public housing and sue other cities nationwide to overturn gun restrictions.
The California lawsuit, which the National Rifle Assn. said it would file in federal court in San Francisco today, was one of several legal challenges that gun rights groups said they would pursue in the wake of the court decision.
Hours after the Supreme Court ruling came down, two groups sued Chicago over its handgun ban, which is similar to the District of Columbia law the high court struck down. In addition, the NRA said it would file a lawsuit against Chicago today and would also sue surrounding cities that ban handguns.
In the rainbow city of San Francisco, where the only people with guns are bad guys, this is especially sweet. Just ask Inspector Harry Callahan.
I know what you’re thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? ….
Well, do ya…punk?

A news report like this….makes me crazy. I feel so bad for the children, I want to immediately put the parents UNDER the jail.
Authorities say a teenager from a faith-healing family died from an illness that could have been easily treated, just a few months after a toddler cousin of his died in a case that has led to criminal charges.
Tuesday’s death of 16-year-old Neil Beagley, however, may not be a crime because Oregon law allows minors 14 and older to decide for themselves whether to accept medical treatment.
Remind me not to move to Oregon. I can remember when I was 16, I listened to my parents and I respected my parents and I certainly obeyed them and their decisions. If these 2 were my parents, I’d be DEAD.
In March, the boy’s 15-month-old cousin Ava Worthington died at home from bronchial pneumonia and a blood infection.
A simple visit to the doctor or a hospital, and the 2 kids would still be alive. This story is so sad, it’s absolutely…..maddening.

Charles Manson follower and vicious MURDERER Susan Atkins is asking for a ‘compassionate release’ from prison. Yah…seems she has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
Former Manson family member Susan Atkins has requested a “compassionate release” from prison because she has less than six months to live, a California prisons spokeswoman said Friday.
Atkins, 60, was convicted in the 1969 slayings of actress Sharon Tate and four others. She had been incarcerated at the California Institution for Women in Corona, California. But Atkins, the state’s longest- serving female inmate, has been hospitalized since March 18 and is listed in serious condition, state corrections department spokeswoman Terry Thornton said.
Atkins’ husband and attorney, James Whitehouse, was quoted as saying she has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, according to a blog called Manson Family Today. She also has had a leg amputated, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday, citing sources close to the case.
And of course, the surviving Tate family and the good people of California are now asked to show compassion and let her out so that she can die peacefully as a free woman.
According to historical accounts of the murders, Atkins stabbed Tate, who was 8½ months pregnant, and scawled the word “pig” in blood on the door of the home the actress shared with director Roman Polanski.
“I don’t want to seem like a heartless creature, but in all my years, I never considered this could happen,” Debra Tate, the actress’ sister, told the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
“She showed no compassion. She told my sister as she slit her throat that she didn’t (care) for her or her unborn baby,” Tate added.
Ms. Tate…I couldn’t agree more. She should die alone and suffer horribly. Evil of this magnitude deserves no respite. EVER.

What with Juan McAmnesty employing Juan Hernandez in his campaign and George Bush doing all he can to send hundreds of MILLIONS of $$$$, Mexico is on a roll. In a violent leftwing corrupt country like El Me-he-co…times are good.
A southern Mexican town’s 15-member police force has quit for fear of being assassinated in retaliation for a shootout with gunmen, a security official said Thursday.Zirandaro was the second town in less than two weeks to be left without its police force as Mexico’s drug cartels wage increasingly bold attacks against security forces.
On Monday, the military took over a town near Texas after all 20 of its police officers were either killed, run out of town or quit.
Uh…is Mexico doing anything about it? You silly Gringo- of course not- I just told you, Dubya is….pay attention!
President Bush’s administration has pushed Congress to approve an initial US$550 million (euro349 million) to help fight drug crime in Mexico and Central America.
Democrats and Republicans- clueless in 2008.

You don’t have to go over to the Middle East to find terrorists. Nah. Although finding domestic ones in Seattle shouldn’t come as a shocker.
Crews battled fires early Monday at four multimillion-dollar show homes in a suburb north of Seattle, and a sign with the initials of a radical environmental group was found at the scene, an official said. The sign, which had the initials of the Earth Liberation Front, mocked claims the luxury homes on the “Street of Dreams” were environmentally friendly, according to video images of the sign aired by KING-TV.
“Built Green? Nope black!” the sign said.
What the sign should’ve said is: Built with a brain? Nope, me neither!
A woman is currently trial in Tacoma for a suspected ELF fire at the University of Washington in 2001. Briana Waters, a 32-year-old violin teacher, is accused of serving as a lookout while her friends planted a devastating fire bomb.
A VIOLIN teacher? What in the name of Stradivarius is wrong with these people?

I know it seems like I’m picking on California lately. But I can’t help it….what once was an amazing land of opportunity, beauty, and exciting possibility has turned into an absolute living, breathing-hell.
A drive-by attack followed by a wild shootout between gang members and police shut down dozens of blocks of Northeast Los Angeles for nearly six hours Thursday afternoon, stranding thousands of residents, keeping students locked in their classrooms and leaving two people dead.
Veteran L.A. Police Department officials described the bizarre midday shootings — and the widespread disruption they caused — as highly unusual even in an area known for gang activity. It left the neighborhood littered with shell casings and its residents fearful.
Unusual? Uh….not any more padre. California is in a downward spiral….a tragic ending to a once great state. Southern California in particular is now a cess pool of gang violence, illegal aliens, and abject DYSFUNCTION on every level.
I should know…..I lived there for 23 years. It now reads like a dark and angry Stephen King novel….with a horrible ending.
As police swept through the neighborhood, parents waited anxiously for word about their schoolchildren and other residents remained either stuck inside their homes or kept back by police barricades.
Makes your heart soar with love and hope.

It’s time. Sadly…it’s time to give new meaning to a word in our English language. But first, a bit of history…..
In 1986, a Postal letter carrier in Edmond, Okla., killed 14 people. And after a decade of murders at Post Offices all over the United States, Americans decided to make it AN ADJECTIVE.
1. of or relating to the mails or the post office
2 : conducted by mail
3 : insanely or murderously violent —usually used in the phrase ‘go postal’
Shooting and killing students on campus has become an epidemic. Yesterday, at Northern Illinois University, a gunmen kills six.
A gunman dressed in black stepped from behind a curtain at the front of a large lecture hall at Northern Illinois University on Thursday and shot 21 people, six of them fatally, then shot and killed himself, said university President John Peters.
Last year at Virginia Tech, a crazed kid kills 32. At Columbine High School, in 1999, 12 kids and a teacher were gunned down. Unbelievably, schools have become the ‘new post offices’ when it comes to mass murder and mayhem. What in the name of Seung-Hui Cho is going on?
Going Collegiate?

Let me just state for the record regarding O.J. Simpson:
1. He did it. Twice.
2. He got off.
3. Life isn’t fair.
Because he did it, and got off, he thought he could do anything he wanted.
I hope he gets a long, long time in jail on this one.
Done.
I wish FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC etc could be as succinct, and move on.
I will not get my wish. Please see number 3 above.

Just to let me know MY Identity was stolen… Just like all the other veterans.
Who ever did it better hope they never get caught. Ticking off a whole load of well trained armed individuals is generally hazardous to one’s health.
