Europeans may be waking up to the mayhem born from radical Islam. FINALLY.
Europeans are increasingly lashing out at the construction of mosques in their cities as terrorism fears and continued immigration feed anti-Muslim sentiment across the continent.
The latest dispute is in Switzerland, which is planning a nationwide referendum to ban minarets on mosques. This month, Italy’s interior minister vowed to close a controversial mosque in Milan.
Some analysts call the mosque conflicts the manifestation of a growing fear that Muslims aren’t assimilating, don’t accept Western values and pose a threat to security. “It’s a visible symbol of anti-Muslim feelings in Europe,” says Danièle Joly, director of the Center for Research in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick in England. “It’s part of an Islamophobia. Europeans feel threatened.”
Liberal dolts like Ms Joly love to throw the word ‘Islamophobia’ into the discussion to automatically couch and frame their argument. As if to say: the peasant hordes are overreacting…how stupid and oafish!
Well guess what you pandering moral relativists- it’s a fear based on facts. And people are DAMN tired of the terrorism- you boorish sycophants.
Some moderate Muslims say those against building more mosques sometimes have legitimate concerns.
My God….someone give THEM a platform. That’s a refreshing voice in the wilderness!

Israel and Hezbollah have completed their ignominious exchange. Two dead Israeli soldiers have now been returned home.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah guerrillas turned over to Israel two coffins believed to contain the bodies of Israeli soldiers captured two years ago, setting in motion a dramatic prisoner exchange between the bitter enemies Wednesday.
The swap- mediated by a U.N. appointed German official who shuttled between the sides for 18 months- is likely to be a significant boost for Hezbollah at a time when the guerrillas are regaining their footing following the blows they suffered in a 2006 war against Israel. It also closes a painful chapter for Israel, which launched a war in against Hezbollah response to the soldiers’ capture in a cross-border raid.
Unbelievable. Israel should’ve never ever ever ever agreed to this. Ever.
Though officials had suspected Goldwasser and Regev were dead, the sight of the coffins was the first concrete sign of the young men’s fate. Their Hezbollah captors had withheld any information about them since they were captured on July 12, 2006.
“We are handing over the two Israeli soldiers that were captured by the resistance … and whose fate has been unknown until this moment,” Safa [Hezbollah official] said. “Now you know their fate.”
Unknown until this moment? SAY WHAT? You lying sack of feces. With any luck, you and your monstrous ilk will be eradicated from the face of the earth and find a special place in Hell.
The sorrow that swept across Israel with the images of the coffins contrasted sharply with the hero’s welcome that awaited convicted killer Samir Kantar upon his return to a homeland he left 29 years ago to set out on his deadly mission.
This is a horrible mistake. Olmert will rue the day.

…and causes the 2nd largest bank failure in U.S. history. What a guy!
IndyMac came under fire last month from U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, who said lax lending standards and deposits purchased from third parties left it on the brink of failure. In the 11 business days after Schumer explained his concerns in a June 26 letter, depositors withdrew more than $1.3 billion, the OTS said.
Liquidity Crisis
“This institution failed due to a liquidity crisis,” OTS Director John Reich said in the statement. “Although this institution was already in distress, I am troubled by any interference in the regulatory process.”
Interference. Read that as, Chuckie should keep his mouth shut.
But, Chuckie had a response:
Schumer blamed IndyMac’s own actions and regulatory failures for the seizure.
“If OTS had done its job as regulator and not let IndyMac’s poor and loose lending practices continue, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” Schumer, a New York Democrat, said in an e-mail today. “Instead of pointing false fingers of blame, OTS should start doing its job to prevent future IndyMacs.”
Poor and loose. Sounds like a pretty good description of the senior Senator from New York.

Oopsie!

Iran is gearing up for a fight. A fight with WHOM?….we’re not exactly sure. But a fight none-the-less.
A senior Iranian commander on Sunday said his country would prepare 320,000 graves to accommodate its slain enemies in the event of an attack on the country. The remark was a veiled warning amid increasing tensions over Tehran’s controversial nuclear activities.
The Mehr news agency quoted Gen. Mir-Faisal Bagherzadeh as saying the graves would be dug in Iran’s border provinces, to provide for the burial of enemies in line with the Geneva Conventions.
IN LINE with the Geneva convention? Oh how…hospitable! And exactly where did the number 320 thousand come from? Let me guess…Ahmadinejad took the number of standing army troops he has…and assigned some HEROIC ratio…hmmm….I’ll guess 4:1. For every 1 Iranian soldier fighting the good fight…he’s figuring…4 of the enemy will be slain.
That’s it! I’m on to something here. Someone call the Pentagon. We now know…how many Iranians will be available to fight. Yep- 80,000.
“The burial of slain soldiers will be carried out decently and in little time,” said Bagherzadeh, a senior officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) who heads a propaganda body called the Sacred Defense Foundation.
I’m glad they invented the internet (thanks Gore!) and hyperlinks. I couldn’t possibly make all of this up.

The Supreme Court decided yesterday that the Monsters of Muslim get to challenge their custody in an American civil court.
In a stinging rebuke to President Bush’s anti-terror policies, a deeply divided Supreme Court ruled Thursday that foreign detainees held for years at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba have the right to appeal to U.S. civilian courts to challenge their indefinite imprisonment without charges.
Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing for the 5-4 high court majority, acknowledged the terrorism threat the U.S. faces - the administration’s justification for the detentions - but he declared, “The laws and Constitution are designed to survive, and remain in force, in extraordinary times.”
In a blistering dissent, Justice Antonin Scalia said the decision “will make the war harder on us. It will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed.”
Justice Scalia would be absolutely correct. In fact, the proof is in the pudding (isn’t it always!)…a former detainee was a suicide bomber in Mosul….a little over a month ago. He successfully killed 6 innocent Iraqis. Go figure.
Now it’s only a matter of time before these murdering psychopaths head back to Iraq to finish what they started.

Lately, the term ‘War on Terror’ has been…uh..coming under fire. (yes, pun intended) Now a Department of Homeland Security official has decided it creates…are you ready for this?…it creates ANIMUS!
The west needs a more comprehensive strategy to counter al-Qaeda propaganda and the US should stop using the term “war on terror”, according to a top intelligence official. Charles Allen, the senior intelligence official at the Department of Homeland Security, says the phrase is counter-productive because it creates “animus” in Islamic countries.
“[It] has nothing to do with political correctness,” Mr Allen said in an interview. “It is interpreted in the Muslim world as a war on Islam and we don’t need this.”
Animus?
Okay class….how many of you use the term ‘animus’ to convey your ill will towards someone? Hmmm…just as I suspected. Zero. Yep…another OVEREDUCATED ivory tower academician who has decided to roll out an English word used by exactly 2% of the population to describe the hostility we may or may not have created in the Muslim world by using the phrase: War On Terror.
Um….Earth to Homeland Insecure bubba…where does the word ‘Islam’ appear in that phrase? Is the phrase: War On Islam? Uh…no. Is the phrase: Terror By Islam? No.
And I would bet the FARM that a straight interpretation of ‘War On Terror’ in Arabic or Farsi or Urdu or Pashto doesn’t have ‘Islam’ in it!
Frank Cilluffo, a terrorism expert at George Washington University and former special assistant to Mr Bush for homeland security, says the US government can take a series of steps to help counter al-Qaeda. He agrees that the US should abandon the concept of a “war on terror” – which “fuels the adversaries narrative” – and “decouple religion from ideology”.
With Muslim homicidal maniacs, Islamic psychopaths, and Koranic Jihadists- you could call it: Battle Against the Bad Guys…and it would STILL ‘fuel the adversaries narrative”. Because in their warped minds…most assuredly, they would begin screaming and shouting that Americans were calling them….
‘The Bad Guys!”
People hear what they want to hear. Always have and always will. As I’ve said a hundred times…not every Muslim is a terrorist….but 90 percent (or more) of all terrorists are Muslim- and until that wicked paradigm changes….
The War on Terror is quite befitting.

Today is the reason why I blog. It is a way of capturing information- for a lifetime. I always like to be armed with data- typically- so I can sledgehammer liberals when needed.
To wit: liberal activists have been SCREAMING for the United States to close Guantanamo Bay. Blasting the Bush Administration- determining that these prisoners should NOT be declared ‘enemy combatants’. And that…why don’t you know…these Muslim murderers should enjoy the comfortable confines of the American legal system, with all of its- free legal defense, and bail, and torts, and injunctions, and habeas this and corpus that, and every convenient legal manuever these whining ACLU member Ruth Bader Ginsburg wannabes can try.
When I read something like this: I hope we keep it open another 200 years. And if we can- throw them UNDER THE JAIL- along with their Korans.
A former Kuwaiti detainee at the United States prison camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba
, was one of the bombers in a string of deadly suicide attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul last month, the American military said Wednesday.Cmdr. Scott Rye, a spokesman for the American military, identified one of the Mosul bombers as Abdullah Salim Ali al-Ajmi, a Kuwaiti man who was originally detained in Afghanistan and spent three years at Guantánamo Bay before being released in 2005.
Yep…allowed to kill again. Which brings me to my next point- rather than close Guantanamo, I suggest we do just the opposite- let’s EXPAND the prison. Heck, let’s double the population.
And stop coddling these homicidal maniacs.

The NY Times and the liberals have won. They have fought the hard fight, and they’ve won. It was only a matter of time. Mark the tombstone: May 6, 2008. Congratulations to all liberals: you’ve hijacked the national discourse, you’ve successfully manipulated the English language and you’ve proven once again- the pen is indeed mightier than the sword.
U.S. officials are being advised in internal government documents to avoid referring publicly to al Qaeda and other terrorist groups as Islamic or Muslim, and not to use terms like jihad or mujahedeen, which “unintentionally legitimize” terrorism.
“Avoid labeling everything ‘Muslim.’ It reinforces the ‘U.S. vs. Islam’ framework that al Qaeda promotes,” according to “Words that Work and Words that Don’t: A Guide for Counter-Terrorism Communication,” produced last month by the center.
“You have a large percentage of the world’ s population that subscribes to this religion,” the former official said. “Unintentionally alienating them is not a judicious move.”
Alienating?
Okay class- time for a review. How many Al Qaeda members are Lutheran? How many Mujahedeen are Catholic? How many jihadists are Mennonite? Name one.
When was the last time a Jew walked into a Saudi supermarket and blew himself up destroying all human life and property within a 100 yard radius? How many Iranian children have been killed by a crazed Methodist? How many Muslim women have been raped and killed by homicidal Baptists? NPR has never reported a brutal beheading of a Christian by a Buddhist. No 16 year old Christian has ever leveled a Muslim marketplace with a bomb.
None. Ever.
Is every Muslim a terrorist? Of course not. But make no mistake: almost all terrorists ARE MUSLIM.
